In the default template this is called:

Aren’t the prototype and scriptaculous used only if quickedit is enabled?

Well in any case, there is a parameter in maxigallery &disable_js_libs what you can use to tell maxigallery not to include scriptaculous / prototype libraries on to the html source because they are there already. So try using &disable_js_libs=`1`... Although I’m not sure if those versions work with the ligthbox v2 that is in maxigallery, but worth to try.

I have quickedit disabled at all.

Also I have tested option &disable_js_libs=`1` which has no effekt at all !

Now I have generated a test css where I have just deleted that two lines below and it works fine !

Ok, something else in that default template probably uses prototype and scriptaculous..

When you use &disable_js_libs=`1` did you check the HTML source? The source should have prototype and scriptaculous included from maxigallery anymore after that parameter is used.

But still, that might not fix your problem, because I think that the root cause here was / is that the prototype + scriptaculous libs from modx manager folders were too new for the Lightboxv2 2.0.2 that is in MaxiGallery.

sorry I hadn´t time to test this ... but now I had some time.

you are right.

In my testpage without &disable_js_libs=`1` and standard CSS prototype and scriptaculous from maxigallery can be found in the header.

Testpage 1 - with &disable_js_libs=`1` and standard CSS

In my second testpage with &disable_js_libs=`1` and standard CSS neither prototype nor scriptaculous can be found ! Also not from a other installation like from modx itself ! So thats why it do nothing ;-)

Testpage 2 - without &disable_js_libs=`1` and standard CSS

I´m with you that the different verisons of prototype and scriptaculous causes this problem.
