Is the chunk run with ditto?

EDIT: and what is the exact ditto call?

No, there is no ditto call involved. I am using AJAX to pull the page in. Could that be an issue somehow? It does look fine when you’re not logged in. So, there’s no way to manage the gallery. I always get the error when I log in, but it works fine when not logged in.

Try disabling the Quickedit plugin.

Umm.. the [+id+] is Ditto place holder.. so of course it’s not parsed then.. So now I cannot understand how you have setuped it?

You have to replace the [+id+] in the chunk with actual document id, if it’s not run through Ditto.

I have four containers that have documents(projects) inside them:
Commercial
- Project 1
- Project 2
- Project 3
Residential
Civic & Public
Development

I have a portfolio page with links to each container (gallery). When a user clicks on the Commercial link it will take them to the Commercial page with a list of the projects. When they click on the project list (built with wayfinder) it will load the project page via AJAX.

You can see it in the manager if you log in again. But here are my calls:

Commercial Gallery page:

Doze,
I can live with the double galleries and such, but I would like to know if there’s a way to fix all the galleries showing up in slimbox. I’ve got a services page with a tabbed javascript. There are four tabs that show the services with a small gallery of only four images in each. I can manage them just fine separately, but when I click on one of the images and it opens up in slimbox it shows a total of 16 images. So, from one gallery I can view all the images on the page. If I can I would like them to be completely separate - showing only the four images when clicked.

Also, I have a link to the ’complete’ gallery at the bottom of each mini-gallery of the services. How can I get that to link to the main gallery?

Yes, like I said, you cannot use the [+id+] placeholder there, because it’s a ditto placeholder and doesn’t serve any purpose in this case either. You need to create a new document what you use for picture management (what has &is_target=`1` in the snippet call, or if you already have one you can use that if the picture filter settings / sizes are common and set that document id to the &manage_target parameter.

You need to do a custom galleryPictureTpl (with the default galleryPictureTpl contents) and find following from the template:

rel="lightbox[maxigallery]"

and replace it with:

rel="lightbox[gal[+maxigallery.picture.gal_id+]set]"

Just do a link normally to the document, eg. <a href="[~documentidhere~]"... or if you have the link in maxigallery outer template for example, you can do <a href="[~[+maxigallery.pageinfo.id+]~]"..

You’ve done it again! Thanks a million! You’ve bee a great help to me. Replacing:

rel="lightbox[maxigallery]"

with:

rel="lightbox[gal[+maxigallery.picture.gal_id+]set]"

did the trick. The other stuff I sorted out differently because the tabbed galleries weren’t pulling the four images from the main galleries I wanted them to link to. So, I just put a doc id in the chunk and that will work!
