    my wishlist:
    1. tagging the photos
    2. linking to flickr by using the flickr tags (e.g. show all pics from user’nobody’ tagged with ’helloworld")
    3. Backend-module for gallery handling (upload, tagging, which slideshowmodule, etc.)

    thanks

HighSlide JS looks pretty sweet, is this now in the Public SVN version, just before I try SD’s workaround?

      Thanks

After looking more into it, I noticed that it is not free for commercial use, so I’m not going to integrate it.. I like to keep MaxiGallery totally free for commercial use also.

I voted: ’Something else, I will post to this thread’ - I’d really love to see some official MODx and Flickr integration with their API - its one overall thing that I’ve noticed about MODx, the developers don’t seem to be too interested in other "web 2.0" applications and projects, it would be fantastic if some Twitter, Google Code or Flickr snippets were made... smiley

I prefer especially support for the mootools v1.11. I can’t download the slimbox 1.3 which i am using in a another task an so it was very difficult to handle the different versions.

                Thanks Joshua

I would love to see a reflection effect, especially on thumbnails. Now, this doesn’t have to be done upfront, it can be done on the fly: http://www.digitalia.be/software/reflectionjs-for-mootools. However, this is based on mootools..

I believe that phpThumb can do reflections too.. not 100% sure though..

I downloaded the reflection.js script and necessary mootools.js, and simply added the "reflect" class to the maxigallery templates - and it worked! Suberb smiley Very easy, and nice effect. I couldn’t get it to work with childgallry templates (yet). I’d wish all snippets for MODx switched to mootools though, so there didn’t have to load so many js libraries on my website (which possibly / usually breaks some functionality or other).

You may rather look for integrating reflection.js then, Doze, since it already works quite well, instead of doing the hard work yourself.
