        SVN version now has &childgalleries_limit parameter. That answers to your first question.

          nice. you rock! works like a charm.

          I have another issue though (may be its been covered already but ...):

          I have this call where i target another page for individual image browsing. ex ’pictures’ (id: 130)
          [[MaxiGallery? &pics_in_a_row=`2` &pics_per_page=`2` &picture_target=`130`  &max_thumb_size=`229` &max_pic_size=`460` &max_big_size=`800` &quality_thumb=`90` &quality_pic=`90` &quality_big=`90` &keep_bigimg=`1` &big_img_linkstyle=`popup` &pic_use_watermark=`1` &pic_watermark_type=`image` &pic_watermark_img=`images/watermark.png` &big_use_watermark=`1` &big_watermark_type=`image` &big_watermark_img=`images/watermark.png` &css=`/styles/style.css`]]


          and on the ’pictures’ page i have this call: 
          [[MaxiGallery? &is_target=`1`]]


          i have 7 images in that gallery and when i get to the individual picture page i see the first image and navigation, but when i try to go to the next image, the pages refreshes but nothing happens. it always stays on the first image.

            ok same thing happens when i try to use Jot for comments (trying to setup a photoblog) but on a gallery level not on an individual picture level.
