This is a good list, and we have all these bases covered and want to improve them where we can as well, which is why we are seeking pilot members to help us better organize and construct those items.

As to adding in features, I’d concur, we don’t want to start throwing them in at this point however we have put a fair amount of features into it the module already that go beyond the basics.

Another example of the tooltip on event title roll-over is below.

We want to button up the installation portion and consolidation the various parameters to make it easier to manage and manipulate.

I vote, if we are voting, for the third display of the events in
the calendar with the details of the event like duration and hours
in the Ajax tooltip and the onclick go to the event page with full
description and info of the event...

My vote is for the option of either an ajax tooltip rollover OR an ajax page display.
Many people don’t know to mouse over something to learn more about it, most people are trained to click to get a response.
From what we have seen so far, this is already miles ahead of all other calendar mods.

I opted to support the AJAX event details page display and we’ll also be able to support the roll-over tooltip, here is a sample of the AJAX event detail view.

Later, when the cheering stops, you could decide if you want to further refine this in several ways:

1. Instead of a popup, show a small calendar at the top of the page, a list of events, then ajax-display the event info on the page

2. Send the user to a new page per se when the event is clicked instead of a popup...I think you offer this option to begin with?? If so, please keep it, don’t remove the option of sending to a new page.

If it exists, it should be kept...because sometimes people need to read a long description, fill out a form or something related to the event, or print the event information page because it may contain travel directions, instructions for something they must do pertaining to the event...

On the first one, we’ll probably add this to the road-map of future releases and you are correct that it currently supports either the AJAX detail view or the new page of the event details.

I think we have a big lump of core features covered for a solid first release, but we will also look to improve as long as it doesn’t hurt the performance.
