    :D yes the best way is to use CSS

    #menucontainer ul { list-style-type: none; }

    then you can either put it in a div or pass the css tag to DropMenu to do it for you.

    Hope you are on you way to modxing it all! Good luck

      whats the difference between list-style-none and display: none ?

      when set to none it just makes the menus disappear

      wish I could use regular | separators vs border, border line has more height then a regular |

      does dropmenu automatically create a class="topnav" ? ? I don’t have that in my css yet it keeps showing up in every dropmenu

        Have you set this to your ul element within the css?
        some links for your ref:
        http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_class_display.asp
        http://www.w3schools.com/css/pr_list-style-type.asp
        Recommend you brush up on your CSS.  w3schools.com is a good place to start

        Yes if I remember right I had same problem.  you can always create a topnav css or just amend the DropMenu snippet to use if one has been passed.
