I’m looking to be able to move the images for AjaxSearch from appearing to the right of the search form to be elsewhere such as on the top right of ajaxSearchResults. Any links to posts or help would be surely appreciated.

Hi Smashingred,

Do you speak of the ajax indicator image and of the cross (close) image ? If yes, you could ajust their positions by the following styles:

#searchClose {
position:absolute;
top: 40px;
left: 20px;
}

#indicator {
position:absolute;
float: left;
top: 40px;
}

And to replace image, change the name of file in the js/ajaxSearch.js file (line 48 and 58)

Got it working and I noticed that in IE7 I am getting the Flash of Unstyled Content (FOUC) bug. Any thoughts on where it is coming from?

On additional review, it isn’t unstyled it actually seems to be the that the JS resize on the results box appears to fliker after the page loads. I am not sure where this is coming from.

I’m sorry I started to look through the 30+ pages of this post but after the first 5 it grew tiresome. I’m sorry if this has already been answered but is it possible to have the search form display in one area of the site (right hand column on every page) and then the results only on one page (the search results page would also have this same right rail)

I currently have the this call in my right column which appears on every page includeing the results.

[!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` &AS_landing=`8` &AS_showResults=`0`!]

and then on the results page i have the following call..

[!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` &AS_landing= `8` &AS_showForm=`0` &grabMax=`10` &highlightResult=`1` &AS_showResults=`1`!]

Yet it doesnt seem to be working. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

NOK. In your landing page try:
