Hi Traveller,
Do you plan to update ajax search so it would be possible to look the highlighted words from the drop-down menu?
It would be very useful.

By drop-down menu do you means a menu set up by wayfinder or other <ul><li> ?
If yes, as wayfinder or specific menu is not linked with the highligting plugin. It’s not so easy to do it.

2.4. And is nothing highlighted on found web-page if we pass from the menu under the direct link.
If we pass from the menu under the link "Click here to view all results" highlight on found documents is not present for russian words as well.

by direct link, do you mean a menu item from your drop dow menu ?

I poorly represent how correctly to adjust the TinyMCE for the present time.
Config is following:

As an image is better than a long speech ... here is a capture of my own manager (French).
In the manager, open the second tab (configuration) of the TinyMCE plugin resources management and change the parameter entity_encoding. Set it to Raw instead of Named. To be effective, your document should be save again.
Try it.

I test standard example of MODx 9.6.1 after installation with standard templates, plugins, snippets and so on. Only has added Russian phrases in existing structure of an example.

Unfortunately, I know English poorly.
I don’t understand meaning of phrase "do you mean a menu item from your drop dow menu".
Explain, please, more in detail.

If you use the default template provided with the MODx installation, you use also the snippet Wayfinder to buid your drop down menu.
"by direct link, do you mean a menu item from your drop dow menu". By direct link, is it when you click on one of the choice of your vertical menu ?

Yes, I do.
Just when I choose one of found results in the vertical drop-down AS-menu.

Has corrected adjustment TinyMCE. Has established "raw". Outwardly has changed nothing. Nevertheless, grand mercie, coroico.

From inexplicable there was a following:
on page with results ($moreResultsPage) when Russian words are in other register as opposed to search string (in AS-form) this words aren’t highlighted totally.

You could also check in the html window of the tinyMCE (second right upper button) that your Russian letters will be save without html encoding.

Oops… I have forgotten to keep anew contents of pages.
All has obtained. Part of paragraph 2.2 :

If we pass from the menu under the link "Click here to view all results" highlight on found documents is present for russian words. But notstable: words are highlighted for one pages, for others - are not.

is cancelled out.
Highlight from separate page of found results in a case when the register of searching string agrees with terms (found words) in document, works stably.

It is necessary to understand, why in the same case highlighting does not work totally for
mismatching register (for Russian). huh

Sorry Traveller, why do you call register ? Not sure to fully understand ? Could you attach (just the time to get it, you could remove it after) a capture of your site, with highligthing of troubles. It could be easier for me to understand. wink

Well.
In my speech “register” = “case” of letters in searching terms. That is Russian slang, calque from “up register”, “low register”.

See enclosure.
The underlined terms are not highlighted, but should highlighted.
This words: "вдоха", "Вдоха", "ВДОХА " are presented in the different case (or “register”).
