Thanks for pointing me in the right direction, however, this fix only made the label visible and still would’nt validate.

I ended up enclosing the insides of the form definition with a <div> and now it validates.

Try using fieldset and legend instead of the div - use display:none in your CSS for the legend and the labels if you don’t want them to show. I had the same problem after upgrading the site at http://www.sem.uk.com .

HI,
I used AjaxSearch 1.0 with 0.9.5 and i had an error while searching and i decided to upgrade it for removing the error. i have new problems with site search after installing AjaxSearch 1.6.
i missed live search, it means i see the search results page right after pressing the search button .it would be a problem but it is not my main problem; i see NOTHING in search-result page even the "no result..." message after searching the words which must show as results. how can i solve it? huh

i test some diffrents codes to solve it,this code is one of them:

[!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`1` &AS_landing=`8`&extract=`1` &showMoreResults=`1`&AS_showResults=`1`!]

Is the landing page cached? Also try uncaching the calling page (in addition to calling uncached).

landing page is uncached and effects of [[AjaxSearch?]] and [!AjaxSearch?!] are same.

problem hasn’t solved yet!

I have a problem: It is that the ajaxSearch_output-box won’t dissapere in MSIE 7 before search. (See pictures below.)

My css:

Hopefully using [[ ]] rather than [! !] will help someone else out.

I am getting multiple inclusions of the script within my head section. This is preventing the script from working properly.

Only one call to the search box in my template and I have placed nothing in the head which would create this problem.

Modx V .9.6

From the commit message for revision 2781, just after 0.9.6 release:

* Fix to original solution for FS#865 which causes registered scripts to be duplicated in cacheable pages by non-cacheable snippets.

This fix is available in trunk, and will be released as part of an 0.9.6.1 patch release in the next week or two.

Awesome, worked great thanks. Shame it only took weeks to get some sort of solution.
