  Hello All,
  Just have a quick question about ajaxsearch that I could not address via forum searches and browsing the code. Is there a method to limit the search results to a container and all children(I am looking to use it for an FAQ section)

  Here is an improvement: The results will auto-hide 10s after the search start if the mouse is not over the search results. Or 5s after we put the mouse out of the search results.
  
  Just change the old AjaxSearch.js for this.

  From a fresh install of Modx 0.9.5, Whether I call the Ajax search cached or not, it seems to only work for one search (using it in IE 6.)
  
  If i perform a search, click off of the search box, then try to search again (without refreshing the page), nothing shows up for the results.
  
  If i refresh the page, everything works fine, if i don’t click off before i try again, it works fine... weird (of course we are talking abou IE here.)
  
  Again, this is only in IE, it works great in Firefox.
  
  I didn’t see anything posted about this yet, but if it’s already been addressed somewhere, please disregard [and point me that direction ].

  I am using an installation of modx 0.9.5 that has the AjaxSearch snippet installed. The snippet seems to work great, except for certain search terms, with certain search terms, I get the following added to the results text:
  
  an class="AS_ajax_highlight AS_ajax_highlight1"
  
  Can anyone help?

  the same issue i reported above appears to also happen in IE7, has anyone else had similar experiences?

  I am using this snippet on my site, and am familiar with xhtml and css very well, however, I am having some problems getting my css to show up properly. Does anyone have any samples of their css for this snippet that I can see to experiment and see where I am going wrong with mine?
  
  I just can’t get anything to work correctly. I have a single page for my AjaxSearch set up with the following snippet call:
  
  [!AjaxSearch? &ajaxSearch=`0` &extract=`1`!]
  
  The results are displaying, but no highlighting is occuring, and the format is all running together for some reason.

  Ok, I have figured out the sytling issues, and it was working fine this morning, but now when I try the search feature, I am getting this error:
  
  Cannot query the database (SELECT DISTINCT sc.id, sc.pagetitle, sc.description, sc.content, sc.introtext FROM `uesa_site_content` sc WHERE MATCH (sc.pagetitle, sc.longtitle, sc.introtext, sc.description, sc.content) AGAINST (’fire’) AND sc.privateweb = 0 AND sc.published = 1 AND sc.searchable=1 AND sc.deleted=0;)
  
  This is being returned for some reason.
  
  My call is: [!AjaxSearch? &ajaxMax=`10`!]
  
  Any help would be most appreciated!
  
  ***EDIT: I have reverted back to the previous version and it is working again now. However, the highlighting is still not working. It is showing up when you do the pageview with the span for the searched text, but no hightlighting, and I have styled it in CSS. Any clues where to find what is not working? ***

  Up until now I was using AjaxSearch 1.1. Now I installed MODx 0.9.6-RC1 and with it came AjaxSearch 1.5.
  
  The point is, I’m using the non-ajax part of the search, but no results show up.
  
  I’ve got a page for more results (id=30), main call in template
  

      [[AjaxSearch?  &AS_landing=`30` &grabMax=`5` &moreResultsPage=`30` &showMoreResults=`1` &addJscript=`1` &extract=`1` &AS_showResults=`1` &ajaxSearch=`0`]]

  
  
  and a call on the page 30 like this:

  [!AjaxSearch? &AS_showForm=`0` &AS_showResults=`1` &addJscript=`1` &ajaxSearch=`0` !]

  
  
  I’ve double checked and uploaded the files of the snippet, I’ve uploaded index-ajax.php, I’ve disabled friendly URLs... Nothing seems to work.
  
  But if I set the &AS_showResults=`1` in my template call and query a search, it shows the result jut underneath the form!
  
  Any help appreciated since I’d like to search through TV as well.
