eForm for MODx Revolution

Sounds good.

I started a thread not so long ago: eForm & Cross Site Scripting (XSS)

With the new version, has XSS been taken into consideration

I still dont have forms on my site at the moment due to the vulnerability of eForm - I am currently testing the solution that "PMS" came up with.

I also posted about a possible PHP function that could help in preventing XSS attacks

Would be nice to hear what possible XSS protection will be available in the new version.

I heard through the grapevine (or rather directly from its dev) that a form building snippet is coming for Revolution. So you may want to keep your eyes peeled to see that in the next few weeks.

It will be primarily a form processing and validation Snippet, just FYI. We will be working on more complex "form building" or "form generation" components in the future though.

Has this been ported over to MODx Revolution yet?

Don’t know about eForm but you might want to check out FormIt

I believe that eForm isn’t really necessary for Revo, as Revo has a lot of native functionality that eForm supplies to Evo. It works differently, but probably a lot more efficiently.

And FormIt will do much of the stuff that eForm did.
