    Zap / Zi:

    The code:

    [[ContactForm? &sendTo=`[(emailsender)]`]]

    [!eForm? &formid=`ContactForm` &subject=`[+subject+]` &to=`[(email_sender)]` &ccsender=`1` &tpl=`ContactForm` &report=`ContactFormReport` &gotoid=`46`  !]

    is the approach selected in the "contact us" page in the default content included in the 0.95 build - "contact us" didn’t work for me, and i believe it won’t work for others as well.

    I will review the docs and learn more about the differences between eForm & ContactForm, but I think you’re right, Zap - eForm alone will do the trick.

      I just checked, both are there, its a mistake. remove the [[ContactForm? &sendTo=`[(emailsender)]`]] part please and you are ok.

        Looking for advice.

        On my form I have the following to display potential errors. The class formerrors makes a box with a light background and a border.

        <div class="formerrors">
        <p>[+validationmessage+]</p>
        </div>

        When I do have errors it’s all fine.
        When there is no error to display the empty box for errors is shown.

        Is there a way not to show anything when there is no error.
        I was thinking on a way to test whether there is errors or not or to use a template for the errors....

        Thanks

              Hi. I’m trying to get a fairly simple form working with eForm but am having an issue that has me stumped. I’ve checked the forums, I’ve googled and I’ve read and re-read the documentation but can’t find any clues! I’ve simplified the form down to basics to test it and I’ve checked an re-checked the code and I’m pretty confident it’s OK. Basically, when I view the page the form is on, I get this instead of the form...

              Parse error: parse error, unexpected ’<’ in /path_to_manager/manager/includes/document.parser.class.inc.php(705) : eval()’d code on line 1

              I haven’t included any of my code because I suspect this error is being caused by something else but I’ll post the code I’ve used if it helps.

              Any clues?

              Thanks, Adrian.

                I think that this happens when you use a snippet designed for 0.9.5 in 0.9.2.x without removing the <?php tag at the beginning and the ?> at the end. If you are using 0.9.2.x, try removing those. That sounds to me like what’s going on.

                    After sending an e-mail via eForm it’s just shows ’eFeedbackThanks’ instead of that chunk template. What’s wrong here? shocked

                      You’re calling your chunk like this:

                      &thankyou=`contactThanks`

                      and the chunk exists and is named exactly as you have it there?
