[FCKEditor] Failed to upload file, internal error

I have this problem after moving a site from one location on the same virtual server to another.

I have run the upgrate and restored the database, but where as before I could upload images and files via FCKeditor, not I cannot.

1) reconfigured your file manager path under the configuration tab?
2) Made sure the assets ->images folder is writable?

But when all this conditions are accomplished and safe mode is on, even so will be there prroblem, which i have decribed above, because safemod and chmod 0777 on dir isn’t solution.

I think that there are more resolutions:

• safe_mode = off
• set up the safe_mode_gid and setgid bit on the dir
• according to me the best way create dir through ftp and plugin/modul will be cross-browser - i know that this solution isn’t so elegant and clear, but with this you can resolve this in few min or hours
• and the best and only one correctly solution is set up for every web pages (page container (i mean dir) in apache) chroot environment

But i will not solve this in Evolution and i wait for Revolution and when the problem will not be resolved there, so i will be forced to do that.

Have any body info about FCKEdit in Revolution according to this problem ?

file manager path: /home/l/e/ebmonthly/public_html/assets/

the folders, images, files, cache etc.. are all set to 777

Fix this way:

Tools > Configuration:

Resource path: /home/[your-username]/public_html/assets/
Resource URL: http://www.[your-website].com/assets/

I get exactly the same error. When opening the editor I still cannot see my images or upload new ones

/home/ebmonthly/public_html/assets/ >> is this the same structure as you can see from the Cpanel-File Manager’s structure to the assets folder?
I use it as i have that structure. Probably you have different way according to your webhost’s server.

File manager path: http://www.[your-website].com/assets

Still no joy even with that absolute url in the file manager path.

This particular host doesn’t offer a control pannel or anything, how would i go about finding the correct path?

You can start asking your webhost administrator about the Cpanel, or the path to your web-directory.
It’s not a joke. You should know it from the beginning.
