I would love to help as well, but I never use Andreas template.
My suggestion will be to create yur own template, but before that you better read the documentation. Believe me, when you’re taking your time with the docs, you will find yourself easier to adapt to all terminlogy on MODx, and it will help you get started relatively quickly (Bad grammar 
).

I’ve read the modx documenations several times and it still doesn’t get any easier
if you are an design expert it may make sense but not for a novice, its written for adv developers no doubt
