Hmmm... not sure if downgrading that far is a good idea...

Can you PM or e-mail me your username and password to the manager? If not or if your MODx setup is really hosed, could you upload a file called phpinfo.php to the root of your site with the following code it it:
I’m thinking that there is something in the way your hosting provider is setup that might be getting in the way of MODx being able to run right.

PM sent Also I have been using modx since they forked from etomite as I used to use etomite but modx was recommended highly to me by someone
Ok...from what I can tell, everything looks ok from the phpInfo page. I did a little digging on the "Not Acceptable" error and found out that it could be an Apache problem. Without knowing how Apache is configured I couldn’t tell you for sure. However, wouldn’t mind seeing what the .htaccess files look like. I read that one person solved it by disabling mod_security by adding the following line to their .htaccess file:
Try that and see if it helps. If not, you might have to ask your hosting provider what has changed on the server config that could cause this to happen. Oh, and this isn’t necessarily a MODx specific issue. Seems some Etomite users have had the same problem (
http://www.etomite.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=4018). If you want, e-mail me a copy of your main .htaccess file...wouldn’t mind have a look at it.
