There should be a tab named Code View which appears first when a snippet, template, chunk, plugin, file (if in the file manager) or document is opened for edit.
I attached a screenshot of a snippet highlighted as an example.

I got nothing of that. In some browsers i see only additional tab: SELECT ALL, and that’s all. Nothing sch a code view

There is no information about creating the module in the install.txt. Only what files to copy.

Ok, I see now what happened
I had a diff folder structure in my dev version and in my haste to package it I forgot to modify the zip file.
to fix this:
download the attached zip and upload the geshi folder into your manager/includes/
ex: manager/includes/geshi/
I apologize and appreciate you bringing this to my attention
I am also fixing the resources zip file.

The files that were copied into the existing folders, can they be deleted or are there any original files that got overwritten?

yes, the files in the manager/actions/ folder are core files that will be overwritten with the packaged ones, which the only changes made are a call to the geshi file that does the highlighting.
My post above has the attached zip with correct files and structure now from a stock 0962 install.
No module or anything else is needed, just upload the files.

can you tell me which class is responsible for content of editor text - color. I see no code, because it’s white as background.

Mike
