Hear-hear! I’m currently testing out 0.9.5 beta 5 (rev. 1776) and I’m VERY interested to hear if/how this can still work? I’ll be looking to have 3 websites hosted off the same ModX install, will save hours of maintenance!
Thanks Wendy for your work on this so far - any chance of an update on the latest BETA’s, and if it can get included in the core release?
beta 5 ?!? wow, I’m stuck in beta 3; anyhow after posting this I read in other threads that MODx 1.0 will support multi-sites/domains via ’Context’ ... I’ll wait for that

Wendy’s no longer in the states and is busily working on his new business in his home country. 1.0 is definitely a ways off into next year, but it will come together in due course.

hi everyone,
i’ve modified the latest svn version to work with modx 0.9.5 rc 2. i have only tested it enough to make sure it works - tests have been less than exhaustive, so there may well be problems. i’ve basically done a cut and paste job, but with one important change:
different entries in the subdomain section of the manager must be separated with a comma now instead of a carriage return. for some reason, php wouldn’t split the string on \n . if anyone has any ideas why, feel free to alter it. this is in the document parser (line 240).
so now, a sample configuration would look like:
forum.example.com 10 2 3,members.example.com 23 4 4
i haven’t reposted this to the svn - i haven’t fiddled with svn enough to know that i wouldn’t screw things up. so again, if anyone else wants to, feel free...

woow thanks! i wil test it very soon
I shall be trying this sthis weekend

lizard: you might want to download the zip again - i’ve only just updated it for the final version of 0.9.5. the other was for the release candidate. i’m using this and have had no problems.
