      The above fixed it. Thanks.

      I think [(site_url)] will do just fine.

        I don’t know that should I post the issues I’m having with the built in snippets here too, or is this just issues with the core functionality? Anyways, when I used the "Add a blog entry" from the front end in the sample site, I got an parse error after submitting the form. The blog entry goes ok to the page though. The parse error is:

        « Execution of a query to the database failed - Table ’database.modx_document_groups’ doesn’t exist »
        SQL: SELECT DISTINCT modx_document_groups.document_group FROM modx_document_groups, modx_webgroup_access WHERE modx_document_groups.document_group = modx_webgroup_access.documentgroup AND modx_document_groups.document = 39;

        And that’s because I didn’t use the default database table prefixes. I looked Into NewsPublisher snippet code and it has a following lines of code:
        $privatewebSql =    "
                        SELECT DISTINCT modx_document_groups.document_group
                        FROM modx_document_groups, modx_webgroup_access
                        WHERE
                        modx_document_groups.document_group = modx_webgroup_access.documentgroup
                        AND
                        modx_document_groups.document = $lastInsertId;";

        .....

        $privatemgrSql =    "
                            SELECT DISTINCT modx_document_groups.document_group
                            FROM modx_document_groups, modx_membergroup_access
                            WHERE
                            modx_document_groups.document_group = modx_membergroup_access.documentgroup
                            AND
                            modx_document_groups.document = $lastInsertId;";

        Shouldn’t it use $modx->getFullTableName to get the correct table names? I’m sorry if this has been covered allready somewhere else.. I did some searching around.

                Bug found in $modx->regClientStartupScript();

                Client-side startup scripts are not being registered.

                This causes Tickers and other TV widgets to fail.

                Here’s the fix:

                	# Registers Startup Client-side JavaScript - these scripts are loaded at inside the <head> tag
                	function regClientStartupScript($src, $plaintext=false){
                		if (isset($this->loadedjscripts[$src])) return '';
                		$this->loadedjscripts[$src] = true;
                		if ($plaintext==true) $this->sjscripts[count($this->sjscripts)] = $src;
                		elseif (strpos(strtolower($src),"<script")!==false) $this->sjscripts[count($this->sjscripts)] = $src;
                		else $this->sjscripts[count($this->sjscripts)] = "<script type='text/javascript' language='JavaScript' src='$src'></script>";
                	}

                Can you tell me how to apply this fix please? I’m trying to use a ticker but it won’t work, so I guess this is what I need to do?

                Cheers,
                Paul.

                    Hi there,

                    as far as I tried MODx I just can say, this is what I think is an easy CMS. Intuitive even without knowledge of PHP smiley
                    But! I have a problem and I hope somebody has an answer for it:

                    OS: Windows XP SP2 (german)
                    Database/Apache/PHP: WAMP5 1.6.1 (MySQL seems to be 5.0.18-nt, Apache 2.0.55, PHP 5.1.2 (ZEND v2.1.0))

                    Installed WAMP with default setup / no changes in any config file.
                    Installed MODx 0.9.1 by extracting the zip, and installed it, works great and well .. but 2 functions do not work:

                    1) when I do Manage Web Users/ Add Web User inside admin interface I get the following error
                    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\wamp5\www\manager\actions\dynamic\mutate_web_user.dynamic.action.php on line 810

                    - 810 is EOF

                    2) when I do Manage Users/ Add User inside admin interface I get the following error
                    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\wamp5\www\manager\actions\dynamic\mutate_user.dynamic.action.php on line 994

                    - haven’t checked, but I think 994 will be EOF too.

                    What did I do wrong? Yes I know, it’s windows smiley but at least as an admin there should be no chmod restrictions like on Linux.

                    Any help is greatly welcome, thanks in advance,
                    Peter
