If I have different authors in different folders, don’t you think it will be easy for me to sort the archives of a particular author? just a thought

That would be quite helpful. However, it’ll make using newslisting to get themost recent 6 posts almost impossible I think due to the nested heirarchy.

Suppose I have something like this
MAIN FOLDER - (NewsListing - snippet is used)
- SUB FOLDER 1
- SUB FOLDER 2
- SUB FOLDER 3
- SUB FOLDER 4
and so on and so forth....
Suppose there is a new post from sub folder 4, its gonna get displayed, then later new post in sub folder2, its gonna get displayed and so on... I could technically use the sub folder as a menu or something like that to sort the articles from each author.
I am saying this thinking logically and I have no clue how the code works. So, if i am wrong, feel free to correct me....

Right now the NewsListing code is not compatible with subfolders but thats something I hope to change.
I will wait until you have it figured out. I know ( I have been told) that you can do these kind of stuff within a week.

Getting NewsListing compadible with subfolders is being discussed in the dev forums right now.
