Its working great for guests, but for users logged in such as administrators, there is no avatar at all, it doesn’t seem to pull in the default no-image avatar.
Not sure if this might have something to do with how I am calling the snippet from other snippet templates (such as jot), but here is where I am at the minute.
Call within sites blog template:
<div id="commentcontainer">
<a name="commentsAnchor"></a>
<h3>Comments</h3>
[[Jot? &placeholders=`1` &customfields=`name,email,website,gravatar` &output=`0` &subscribe=`1` &moderated=`0` ¬ify=`2` &canmoderate=`Site Admins` &validate=`email,name` ]]
[+jot.html.moderate+]
[+jot.html.comments+]
[+jot.html.form+]
[+comment.custom.email:is=``:then=``:else=`[+comment.custom.email:gravatar+]`+]
</div>
Here is the specific section of code within jot’s chunk.comment.inc.html template:
<div class="jot-user">
<!-- this is the posters details, such as name -->
<a href="[+comment.custom.website+]">
[+comment.custom.email:is=``:then=``:else=`[+comment.custom.email:gravatar+]`+]
</a>
[+comment.createdby:isnt=`0`:then=`<strong>`+][+comment.createdby:userinfo=`username`:ifempty=`[+comment.custom.name:ifempty=`[+jot.guestname+]`:esc+]`+][+comment.createdby:isnt=`0`:then=`</strong>`+]
<span class="date">[+comment.createdon:date=`%a %B %d, %Y, %H:%M:%S`+]</span>
</div> <!-- end .jot-user -->
Can anybody see why its not pulling in an image for the administrator? Even better would be a solution for manually adding an image for the administrator when he/she posts, that way its not relying on Gravatar, which seems to be playing up at the minute.
Thanks
