      Can’t seem to get it integrated with the latest version of Jot, tried the example with the PHx-modifier example.

      Am I right in thinking that the normal snippet example can not be used for user comments, since you have to define a email from the off, or can this be modified with placeholders from Jot?

      Thanks

        Hi,

        i tried it with Jot 1.0 and a uncached snippet call like this:
        [!Jot? &pagination=`10` &customfields=`name,email,url` ... otherstuffdeleted ... !]
        and it works. Maybe somebody can help you (i’m no expert embarrassed), if you show your codes?

          Bye,

            Here is the contents of a chunk that I have my snippet call contained in:

            [[Jot? &placeholders=`1` &output=`0` &subscribe=`1` &moderated=`1` &notify=`2` &canmoderate=`Site Admins` ]]

            [+jot.html.moderate+]
            [+jot.html.comments+]
            [+jot.html.form+]
            [+comment.custom.email:is=``:then=``:else=`[+comment.custom.email:gravatar+]`+]

            The last line being the gravatar addition.

            Thanks

                Nice,

                if you can’t see the default image, you can change this line
                $grav_imag_def = $modx->config['site_url'] . 'assets/images/nogravatar.gif';
                into
                $grav_imag_def = 'http://insertyourdomain/andpath/here/nogravatar.gif';
                .

                  I posted two comments, one as a guest user (works) and one using my manager login (doesn’t work), not sure why that is, I actually have a gravatar assigned to my manager email addy too.

                  Do you know if gravatar are having problems? I signed up for an account yesterday, uploaded an avatar but it doesn’t display anywhere... although on other sites it displays the default no-icon image.

                  Thanks

                    Is gravatar fully operational again? It disappeared for about a year I think.
