captcha works fine for other hosted users running phpbb, nuke, etc.

anyways, i went ahead and compiled freetype support into the server, and now i’ve noticed a slight issue with ModX’s captcha implementation. ->> while system settings allow you to define words to use for the captcha, ModX ignores the word selection, and apparently generates randomly? or generates from a list elsewhere.

That doesn’t bother me, just seems interesting

I’ve decided to not be lazy, and I’ve started delving a bit deeper, i’m impressed with the modularity of the system

one thought, since y’all appear to be using "hooks", is there any way to determine what order the plugins/modules/whatever will execute? (i.e.- if there’s a plugin that needs to occur prior to a secondary plugin, how is that controlled? or is this just a stupid question? )

Plugin execution order is done on a FIFO basis right now. Order control will be released in a future release (and not the next one unfortunately).

You’ll have to go into your database (with phpMyAdmin or whatever client you use) and browse the system_settings table to find the setting_name "use_captcha", then edit the setting_value to be 0 instead of 1.

I am facing this problem of captcha validation for the past 1 week. Even if i typed the captcha world correctly, the system say it is wrong. Hence I am failing repeatedly to login. What is the solution for this. ?
