PM sent, JT. Take a look at it. smiley

Chanh, we’re talking about the resource browser...err...the thingie you use when you browse for an image to insert. It can be finicky with certain server configs and doesn’t always want to show the thumbnails right.

JT, I looked at the site and I think I see the problem. After looking at the phpinfo() page from Administration/View System Info, it looks like the GD library isn’t loaded in your PHP configuration. If you recompile PHP and add support for GD then the thumbnails should appear. This is pretty standard for most PHP applications that use thumbnails...most of them are dependent on GD or another image library for thumbnails to work. You can find more information about GD on the following page: http://www.php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php.

      Hope this helps! smiley

        Jeff,

I am so sorry for using up your time for something so obvious. I did not set up that server so I made a bad assumption and did not check for the GD libraries. Thank you for taking a look at that. The silly server is a Mac g5 and I dont have access to the thing physically and ssh compiling always makes me nervous. As this server is live already I imagine I will have to tell the users to deal with a lack of preview. Thank you again for your time.
        • Odd, my Mac server (and this laptop as well) both came with PHP with GD enabled. (OS X 10.3.9)
