Check your server host has temporary directory settings set in ’open_basedir’ and ’upload_tmp_dir’. It sounds like it could be this.

You can look on the ’View System Info’ menu page, click on the phpInfo() - ’View’ link.

Spotted it, however do you need a trailing slash ("/") in both one or onoe of the fields?

Here’s an example from an installation I manage, both are identical:

          /home/httpd/vhosts/domain.co.uk/httpdocs:/tmp

It should be like this http://www.dukinfieldoldchapel.org.uk/assets/ ! watch for manager. Assets directory is actually does not reside in Manager folder. So your Resource path will be
              /home/dukin/public_html/assets/

              Hope this helps smiley

Hello, I’m having the same trouble here.

All directories are set to 777, the file mananger states "writeable". If I upload via FCKEditor, I receive the "internal error". If I try and upload with file manager, I get no error, but the file wouldnt be uploaded either.

I searched for the open_basedir setting and found: [tt]/var/kunden/webs/ahhermann/:/tmp/[/tt]
I don’t understand this, what does this mean. If this setting is correct, I don’t mind understanding it for now wink

Are the privileges for the temporary upload dir wrong? Or what is my problem? I dont completely understand that thread above ...

                    Thanks
                    Martin

Check to make sure that the Resource Path and Resource URL are set correctly. This is checked in the Manager > Tools > Configuration under the Interface and Features tab.
