it was a clean install on a newly created database - as I mentioned, it seems that the tinymce plugin is causing these troubles.
quickedit works until I install the tinymce plugin - I know, it is really kind of weird.
actually, that’s not correct either - while I’m getting the quickedit buttons in firefox - sometimes they don’t show up in IE. I’m really kind of lost on this.
There’s bug inside the TP3.2 installer. To quickly correct this problem edit the QE module and add the QE plugin to the module’s dependencies list
To fix the installer edit setup.info.php line 114-115 should read:
// setup plugin as module dependency
$ds = mysql_query("SELECT module FROM ".$sqlParser->prefix."site_module_depobj WHERE module='$moduleid' AND resource='$pluginid' AND type='30' LIMIT 1");
still don’t see any quick edit buttons in IE - firefox is o.k. - haven’t installed tinymce yet.
Actually...there is a problem with TinyMCE...but not with the plugin itself. The problem is in the installer. I’ll post a fix in the

For the record, the version that shipped in TP3.2 worked fine on my IE 6.0.280 and Mozila 1.0.6 browsers.
