ok, the normal autotag-tv, doesn’t work together with MIGX. I think it’s possible to create a special autotag-TV which does it.

what’s the name of your URL-TV. You will need the name of your TV for inputTV, not the type.

Ahhhh, I see... The penny has dropped. I thought the inputTV should be a string equivalent of the TV type. It makes so much more sense, now

I use getResources with getimagelist

why in the tpl slide_home_realisations i must call the placeholder [[+id]] before getImageList ?

if i d’ont call the placeholder, getImageList don’t work.

try to call getImageList cached:

[[getImageList?    &tvname=`photos`    &tpl=`content_slide_home`     &limit=`1`    &docid=`[[+id]]`]]

I’m still new to ModX / MigX, but is there a way to input data and share it across a range of pages? Perhaps by template? For instance, I’m currently using MigX to create panelled area’s. These panelled area’s may, on occasion, be the same for all pages with a given template. I could embed the data into the template, but I want the data to be easily updated by the client.

you can create a new resource, which acts as a ’global resource’ and use the getImageList-snippet with &docid=`xxx` where xxx is the resourceID of your ’global resource’

Ahh, I see. Would it then be possible to allow the client to specify docid, perhaps via dropdown, in MigX, so each item uses a different resource? Are there examples of this?
