Wayfinder 2.3.0-rc2 won't install on MODx Revolution 2.1.0-dev (git)

I just downloaded and installed Wayfinder 2.3.0-rc2 in 2.0.8 with no trouble, so it seems unlikely that there’s something wrong with the package itself (unless there’s been an unannounced update to the file).

Is everyone waiting for the "download" button to change to "downloaded" before clicking on the "finish" button? Not doing so might truncate the package.

Hi Bob I have tried using the package manager and yes waiting for the download to finish as you said and also downloading from http://modx.com/extras/package/wayfinder and then adding it to the packages folder and running a local search and both ways come up with the same issue.

The only way I could get it to work was to Download it, rename it and then place it in packages and install from there. I have just this min uninstalled it, deleted the relevant files and tried to install using package manager and it is now sorted.

I wonder if there’s a problem with upgrading. I usually remove all older versions before upgrading a package.

Nope I wondered that at first so removed everything and still had the issue. It’s only this evening that it has started working.

I think it was a urlencoding issue. I’ve added a sanity check to our provider to ensure that doesn’t happen. Let me know if you are still experiencing the issue.

I have the exact same problem except it’s for tinyMCE installation. Revo 2.1.0 rc4.

Any solution or workaround? I tried downloading the zip manually, uploading, and then installing, but I got the same error.
