Wayfinder 2.3.0-rc2 won't install on MODx Revolution 2.1.0-dev (git)

tried installing Wayfinder on latest dev version of revo get the following error messages

Attempting to install package with signature: wayfinder-2.3.0-rc2

PHP warning: ZipArchive::extractTo() [ziparchive.extractto]: Invalid or unitialized Zip object

xPDOZip: Error opening archive at /opt/lampp/htdocs/core/packages/wayfinder-2.3.0-rc2.transport.zip

Package found...now preparing to install.

Could not unpack package /opt/lampp/htdocs/core/packages/wayfinder-2.3.0-rc2.transport.zip to /opt/lampp/htdocs/core/packages/. SIG: wayfinder-2.3.0-rc2

PHP warning: ZipArchive::close() [ziparchive.close]: Invalid or unitialized Zip object

Could not install package with signature: wayfinder-2.3.0-rc2

Will also file a bug on this but any help here would be great too

I had the same issue, i think the zip that gets downloaded in the package manager is corrupt or something. I resolved by downloading and manually installing.

Download the zip from here: http://modx.com/extras/package/wayfinder
Overwrite the existing zip here: /opt/lampp/htdocs/core/packages/wayfinder-2.3.0-rc2.transport.zip

You should then be able to go into package management and install as usual.

it installed fine on Revo 2.08 - which suggests it is not the wayfinder zip at fault

Something is definitely wrong. Same thing’s happening to me on multiple different installations. I downloaded it manually and then it worked fine. Zip is definitely corrupt in Package Management.

yep, same thing happened to me. I installed wayfinder fine a few days ago before this latest release but it ain’t having it now. There is no content in any of the windows, license agreement etc when clicking install.

Nope tried the download and manual install and nothing.

Happened to me on 2.0.7 when I downloaded directly from the package manager. When i replaced the zip with the zip i manually downloaded from http://modx.com/extras/package/wayfinder it installed fine.

Looks like the file is being downloaded as --->

Might be a problem?

I renamed it and manually uploaded, searched local, and it installed then.

manually uploading the zip also worked for me.

Renaming the file worked good for me. it installed not actually tried it yet but at least it installed. Thanks
