Only show one parent and children group

If Bruno’s snippet would output each chunk dependently of what level one visit then this would
make it useful for menus/containers that somewhere in the tree stop making sense... Specially
for restricted pages where I want to output parent in one level but not in the next... but for sure in the next! :)

may be something like that can also work, I didn’t test it.

&startId=`[[GetChunkByLevel? &chunks=`@CODE[*id*],@CODE[*parent*]` ]]`

I’m afraid I don’t see the need for chunks at all. The &startId parameter just needs a number so why not return the appropriate number from the snippet?

when using @CODE the snippet dosn’t return chunks, but the code after @CODE......... in this case at level 1 the ID of the Doc, at level 2 the ID of the parent

Sorry, I see what you’re doing. I was confused by the word "chunk" used twice.

I haven’t tested it, but I think this would work:

&startId=`[[GetChunkByLevel? &chunks=`[*id*],[*parent*]` ]]`

Hello

I have a similar problem but not sure if this is the thread where I need to post this.

Here is my situation...

AS example, my folder structure is:

Folder1
----- Page1
----- Page2
Folder2
----- Page1
----- Page2
Folder3
----- Page1
----- Page2 (currently on this page)

Here is what I want to do - if I’m on "Page2" of "Folder3" I want to display all the child pages of the folder I am in and also all the folders - but NOT the child pages in the other folders that I am not currently in.

Example:

Folder1
Folder2
Folder3
----- Page1
----- Page2 (currently on this page)

- or -

Folder1
----- Page1 (currently on this page)
----- Page2
Folder2
Folder3

- or -

Folder1
Folder2
----- Page1
----- Page2 (currently on this page)
Folder3

How would I do this with wayfinder?
