can wayfinder folder links look like "folder/" instead of "folder.html"?

I’ve looked through the docs and searched quite a bit, but I can’t find an answer to this ...

I am using SEO friendly URLs, alias paths, Wayfinder 2, and the SEO strict plugin. I’d like for Wayfinder’s links to folders to render as "folder1/folder2" instead of "folder1/folder2.html". Is this possible? If so, how?

I am also looking for solution to this problem.
Could PHx be used for links rewriting?

Have you tried deleting the content in Tools->Configuration->Friendly URLs->Suffix for friendly URLs ?

Look into the seoOverride TV combo w/ SEO Strict Plugin. Then, you can set the menu to "BASE NAME" for the given document and that will prevent the Friendly URL extension from being applied on a per-document basis.

However, if you want this on ALL documents, I would recommend removing the extension in the Site Configuration as mentioned above.

Double check your SEO Strict Plugin Parameter values!
