How do you let Content Editors see limited directories in the 'Files' tree?

Did you try clearing the cache after changing some settings?

Try setting the filemanager_path with the absolute value, eg /usr/home/domain/public_html/assets/ and setting filemanager_path_relative to 0 (no)

Same for the rb_base_dir

Thanks Mark. I still can’t get it to work with what you suggest. I now have the following settings, though I have tried a multitude of variations on the same theme.

Besides that the filemanager_url looks relative to me (ie it doesn’t include teh site_url) that should work if your absolute filepath indeed is what you entered..

If you want me to have a quick look, send me an email (see sig) with login details for the manager and I’ll try to squeeze it in.. as I’m moving on friday I’m not 100% sure when that’ll be though.

The site is just local on my Mac at the moment while I integrate Modx so unfortunately I can’t send you any login details. I’ll continue to try and get it working...
