    Is it possible that some pages being several layers down, i.e. ’grandchildren’ or lower below page ID 70 could have anything to do with it?
    Why don’t you add &depth parameter to you Ditto call ?

      Hi there.

      Forgot to mention; I did. Whatever I tried lead to a PHP timeout error after 30 secs processing so I assumed that &depth was not working correctly....

        Many thanks - I think your code has helped me crack it!

              Why don’t you upgrade to Ver 2.1.0 ?

                ummm...dunno ;-) will try and upgrade.

                I had assumed, wrongly, that the latest modx core download had the latest versions of all snippets. Clearly not.

                Thanks for the tip.

                  In case this helps someone else (and apologies if this is covered elsewhere):

                  I was having trouble with tags not being picked up and displayed in the cloud. I found a fix that worked for me.

                  If you have several layers of documents and find that the tags in the lower levels are not being added into the cloud then try this:

                  Open your TvTagCloud Snippet and find the section of code headed "// Get the subentities of the supplied parent"

                  Find the line that reads
                  $subDocs = $modx->getChildIds($parentDoc, 3);

                  As far as I can tell, the digit ’3’ means that only three layers of sub-pages are picked up by the cloud.

                  Edit to the digit to suit your site. For me, I needed to go down 10 layers of documents.:
                  $subDocs = $modx->getChildIds($parentDoc, 10);

                  All I know is that this worked for me. Please correct me if I am wrong in how all this works.

                    I checked the source of Ver 2.1.3 from the repository.
                    I think &depth parameter doesn’t work.
                    Its input is checked and set ’10’ when it’s not set at the beginning of the snippet, but it is never used after that.
                    It might be like this as leapy stated above ?
                    $subDocs = $modx->getChildIds( $parentDoc, $depth );

                      Good catch -- I’ve fixed that and updated it on the repository (v 2.1.4)
