Hi there,
would this snippet theoretically work with modx 0.9.6.3 .... i just tried without luck
thanks, j
I was having the same problem. Instead of using the placeholders, I ended up modifying the snippet to just echo out the content:
Add:
echo $atozletters;
echo $atozresults;
above or below:
$modx->setPlaceholder('atozletters', $atozletters);
$modx->setPlaceholder('atozresults', $atozresults);
Someone also asked how to get this snippet to show default content. If you change line 58 to:
$letter = (isset ($_GET['letter'])) ? stripslashes($_GET['letter']) : $letter;
Then you can set a default letter in the snippet call like:
[!AtoZ?startid=`0`&letter=`F`!]
or
[!AtoZ?startid=`0`&letter=`ALL`!]
Another thing I figured out is that AtoZ listing will not list ANY documents that are privately accessible. You can modify the snippet to display private elements by removing instances of "privateweb=0" in the mysql queries. It works, but do it at your own risk since it shows all documents regardless of privacy settings. The snippet should really be modified to work with MODx’s security model.
