sIFR use any font you like on your webpage (funky headers etc)

    The plugin should be very simple to do with regclientJS API.

        Really very amazing. I love it. Much better than text flash. A must have I think to do some nice pages. If someone can integrate it in MODx: wow!

            I’m trying to get sIFR to work with MODx but the documentation on the sIFR site is not very good imho..
            I have included the sifr.js file and call the function in the body, but it is not loading it seems..

            I added a little bit of code to test if it loaded:
            if(typeof sIFR == "function"){
    sIFR();
    document.write('sIFR working');
}else{
    document.write('sIFR NOT working');
};


            And somehow I can just not get it to work..
            Has anyone gotten this to work so far? I could really use some help..


            EDIT:
            omg, i’m such an idiot.. i was using a wrong include adress.. hehe, /ignore me plz wink

              Did you check the text2image plugin out ?
              I know it’s not sIFR but it could be a possible replacement...

                text2image works. It’s a bit picky on the encoding of .ttf font files, but it’s really neat.

                  Never tested it, but I had meant to for a while...

                  A bit off topic, sorry but is there a way to check out that the encoding of .ttf files is OK ?
                  I mean, one of the things I noticed switching to Mac is the FontBook is doing some kind of error checking : some of the fonts I used in Windows were giving me warnings...

                      why do you need it as a plugin? just implement it as normal.
