I understood that part correctly and i haven’t touched admin user’s permissions. Yet the toolbar doesn’t appear when loading the page. I’m using Revo 2.0.4-pl2 with these plugins installed via package manager: archivist, formit, googlesitemap, wayfinder and tinymce.

I got this error while uninstalling Frontpage:

Removed modPlugin instance with primary key 5
Skipping modPluginEvent object (data object does not exist and cannot be removed): Array ( [0] => 0 [1] => OnWebPagePrerender )

The uninstall error is a bug, I’ll fix this in the next release, it won’t stop it working. You may need to load jQuery, see the User guide customization section, you need to set the loadJQuery property on the plugin to do this.

Is there anyway to control position of created document?
I.e. if I want to publish front-end document in some specific container - how would I do that?

At the mo the only way to do this is to navigate to any page within the target container, this becomes your ’underlying page’ as far as Frontpage is concerned, if you now create a document the container will become its parent i.e the same parent as the page you are on This is a good point though, it would be easy to add a parent field to the create page that took either a document id or an alias and use this if specified. I’ll raise a ticket for this in github.

I’m showing ignorance on this, but how do you log in through the front end? Is it done through a URL similar to logging into Manager (www.mysite.com/manager)?

You use a component to do this, revo has the Login add on, this normally sits in a sidebar or on a page and presents a user/password login box like the manager.

It would be for MODx Evolution. Revolution does it all with the Login package.
