Hi

Thanks so much for this calendar it all seems to be working great.
There are a couple of things i’m not able to figure out so wonder if you can help.

Firstly how does the light box hover work? I have the calendar working so the events will go to the relevant page in the resource tree but can’t figure out how to get the modal windows to work.

Where can i change the ’monospaced’ category text style?

Also i would ideally like to have the events on the calendar have a different coloured background...how can i do this?

Hmmm....I’m stumped as to what I’m doing wrong. I followed the installation instructions, but when I click "run module" I get a blank screen in that side of my manager window.

I installed both the module and snippet code, and when I try to call the module in a page, this is the error I’m getting, so I know it’s not completely setup right:

The features sound like this is the perfect solution for what I’m looking for, so any help in pointing me in the right direction in troubleshooting where my problem is would be appreciated. I’m running v1.0.3

So there is a "lightbox" feature using the mxcAjaxPageId used like:

[!mxcalendar? &mxcAjaxPageId=`50` !]

and then there is also a "tooltip / moodalbox" option that displays on the full calendar view when the mouse is on an event title and is set using the configuration tab and setting the Tooltip to ’true’ noted in the attached image.

Is there any way I could place two mxCalendars on the same page? I think about something like this:
- in the right column of my layout I want to place [!mxCalendar? &mxcType=`list`!] on every page
- in the centre column in one of my pages I want to place full calendar...

the problem is, that when I chose event from the full calendar, then event details are displayed both: inside full view (centre column) and list view (right column). I want to display details only inside centre view.

Any suggestions?

Current the list view supports multiple calls on a single page and i’m working to make the calendar view do the same.

Got a fix ready, see samples images below. Once I roll in a few more changes I’ll release an update tomorrow.

Thanks for your help.

Ok i still can’t get it to work, this is what i have:
Resource id 116 (this has the calendar on it) with the following call: [!mxcalendar? &mxcAjaxPageId=`118`!]
Resource id 118 (set as ’blank’ template) with the following call: [!mxcalendar? &mxcFullCalendarPgId=`116`!]

I am getting a javascript error ’Break on Error, Class is not defined’...i’e attached a screenhsot. Maybe this has something to do with the lightbox or modalbox not working?

Hi,
I had decided to try this again, as it is so promising. Now I get the below errors, too, and though I tried to follow the Ajax instructions as carefully as I could, it doesn’t do anything Ajaxy that I can see. Either there’s something I’m not doing that’s not in the directions, or there’s the usual Javascript conflicts that every calendar app seems to get, or who knows. The Google map part is a complete mystery, too.

On the bright side, maybe I can use it as it is, if the error messages go away. It looks great, and does link to the docs.

The next release will resolve the Manager XMLReader warnings and can you provide samples of your snippet calls as they are on your document pages.

Wanted to get some quick feedback prior to releasing the newest version:

So, the biggest news is I’ve added in support for Web User Group permission settings on each event. I have a "combo box" setup where you can select which group’s users are allowed to view the event and also a public (default) option. Please review and provide me with how you think you’ll use this so I know if should make it a checkbox by default that’s "Public" viewing and then when unchecked the full list becomes visible for selection or any other thoughts.
