Hi,

I just tried installing mxCalendar 0.0.6-rc3 module and got following error:

« MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:

Moreover, when I was following you instruction and clicking the Run Module, instead of getting "You should see a screen saying the installation was successful, so click the Start button", I got Update was successful message and Next button. After clicking the Next button I got the error above.
Please, help with this problem.

I got that the first time I tried to install it yesterday because I had stupidly put the wrong text into the module, and when I put the correct text in and tried to run it it gave me that error. So I deleted the module and removed the files from assets/modules and started all over again. This time it went perfectly.

I followed instructions precisely and have not change any name or anything. Tried to install twice already and getting the same error again and again. What puzzles me is why I am getting "Update Completed" message if I am not updating anything. This is the first time I am installing this module. Very strange. Please see screen shot. Another strange thing that I noticed is that it says Version 0.0.6.-rc2, could it be an old file somewhere that is causing problems?

Any help is appreciated.

Dang it, I didn’t get the config files removed. Please remove any files in the mxcalendar/config/* folder and rerun the module, sorry for the confusion and I’m updating the files now.

Sorry all, new package files have been loaded replacing the version that had files in the mxcalendar\config\ folder.

New users of mxCalendar should make sure that there are no files in the config folder for the module before running the module the first time, if you have already installed and have issues remove mxcalendar\config\config.xml file and rerun the module.

No problem. This calendar is so great that a couple of small bumps in the road really doesn’t matter at all.

I’m getting the following errors and I’m unable to modify ’Categories’ or ’Configuration’. T

Warning: XMLReader::setParserProperty() [xmlreader.setparserproperty]: Invalid parser property in /assets/modules/mxCalendar/mxCalendar.class.php on line 681

Warning: XMLReader::read() [xmlreader.read]: Load Data before trying to read in /assets/modules/mxCalendar/mxCalendar.class.php on line 682

this looks like a promising module, I hope I can get these issues resolved. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

I’m sorry to hear you are having issues with the tabs, I have a fixed file that you can update in the root of the ’module/mxcalendar/’ folder which should fix the issue for you. It appears my latest attempt to fix some open html tags.

Sorry for the inconvenience and hope to get an autonomous solution in place.

As to the warning messages for XMLReader, you can ignore them as they will not cause any loss of functionality as long as the install was complete, which if you’re seeing the tabs was successful. This warning is a PHP Library requirement that I’m in the process of removing the dependency on.

Please let me know if I can assist in any other way.
