Hi, I’ve got a problem with Easy 2 Gallery (modx-1.0.2 installed) when using friendly urls.

I followed install instructions and noticed that thumbs and full images work properly when I use normal ulrs, but when I set friendly urls with setting "Use Friendly URL alias path" thums do not show up (their path is nested within alias path, not absolute) and when showing full images everything stops on "loading" .

Can you help? "Use Friendly URL alias path" setting is necceassary for me.

don’t forget to add

<base href="[(site_url)]"></base>

inside your template’s head part.

The alias path works fine on my examples site (click on my signature below).

I’ll provide a string callback, so anyone can create functions to all output string. This should the best option to be able to hook up to other language snippets (like YAMS or anything else).

I still need to fix some problems with the charset issues, and testing the event invoking, just like MODx has.

Hi again xperts!

After the initial happiness of getting my images somehow displayed at all, I´ve experienced more problems when I try to tweak the settings to my preferences :’(

It seems I´m only getting the default gallery displayed OK. The rest of the settings I´m having problems with.

I wanted the "gallerydark". Here´s the code which I copied directly from the Help-section:

[! easy2? &slideshow=`galleryview` &ss_config=`gallerydark` &w=`30` &h=`30` &ss_w=`600` &ss_h=`400` !]

I´ve tried all the galleryview examples, the only one of those I´m getting any results from is the Polaroid-version. In this case I´m getting a grey filled frame but still no pictures.

Any thoughts for a lost soul? wink

Hello,

First off this is a great package, I am very excited to be working with it.

However, I have some problems.

1) I just installed E2G-1.4.0-RC1-r259 and the installation seems to have gone fine. However I get an error:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/modxdev/public_html/mesh/assets/modules/easy2/index.php on line 64

2) I have uploaded a few images but I was unable to get any thumbs.

3) when I use the snippet I get the following error:

Javascript library error.

4) When I edit the settings in the module I press save but the settings dont seem to be saved since they revert back to what they were before.
