I like this fancybox with evogallery the most!

It’s really easy to implement any gallery, just change the js and css and also the ul and li.

Thanks for providing that! Nice details as well.

Do you have any insight, practices and specifics on adding the php:thumb script?

One little thing. I am viewing that site with a 15" MacBook Pro with a 1440 X 900 resolution. I think those photos (nice images by the way) are a bit too large? The longer vertical images hide the lower portion and the close box...

OK - I have installed evo with everything except the demo content, and installed EvoGallery from git.

Whoever wants to come in and setup a demo, and maintain it to some degree, PM me for the credentials.

I will keep EvoGallery updated.

@Photowebmax: u can use fancybox for smaller browsers, it always takes 80% of your browsersize, fancybox is awesome.

php:thumb isn’t that hard to install:

Just read the install. Upload the files and make a snippet. Plugin isn’t needed.

I will attempt this with EvoGallery when I get the chance. I tried to get it working with MaxiGallery and could never figure it out. I just kept getting error messages. Trying to read all the php:thumb threads with MaxiGallery just seemed to reveal more confusion with no real set of step by step directions? In the end I gave up and hand cropped my thumbnails with Photoshop and replaced the ones that MaxiGallery produced.

I had trouble with the modx version of phpthumb as well, I just used the standard release version and edited all my templates and snippets to pass through that. I took the quick route and disabled the phpthumb security - should probably go back and figure that out

it’s "almost" done, without the phpthumb.

i can’t upload any images: it says disallowed file type?
I want to upload an image into a TV set on the detailpage.

all i do is try to upload a jpg while these are allowed: bmp,ico,gif,jpeg,jpg,png,psd,tif,tiff
and permissions where set 777 u said, safemode is off, so should work but doesn’t, hmm i don’t have a clue.

U can try to get phx and phpthumb and i’ll fix that too.
Much better for resize thumbs.
I call it a day, prolly tomorrow i’ll finetune it.

That was my understanding - I haven’t seen it in action though. Let us know what you come up with
