    The sortorder is only saved upon save or upload.. so in the module, save the gallery you’re in and it should save the sortorder as visible in the back-end to the database.

    And don’t forget to change the default sort order in your snippet to "sortorder", or it will still order it differently.

      Damn, i forgot to use sortBy=`sortorder`

      Works like a charm now. My bad.

        That took me by surprise the first time, too!

        I’ve added an issue on Github to make sortorder the default, it’s just silly you are drag ’n dropping in the back-end but use a different sortorder in the front-end by default. tongue

              Consider yourself forgiven.

              The archive I posted a couple of posts back is the latest one, but I didn’t update it since. (not on Github yet either)

              I’m hoping to spare some time coming week to make some of these changes (how minor they may be), and will put it in the repo then as a new release, as well as post here to inform you guys.


              That said - feel free to check out the github I set up and make some changes, and send me a pull request. I welcome all community contributions and am not planning on running this project solely. I’ll just try to keep people motivated to help out, too! tongue

                What did u do? Updated uploadify? After a clean install i have no problems anymore with uploading images in Firefox laugh

                  Its always useful to see the end result of how users implement these snippets/modules etc...

                    Nope? Did nothing with that yet (although it is planned). Glad to see doing nothing fixed it? Lol

                      I will gladly host a demo site from my home server (30mb/2mb pipe). I have a subdomain setup and a login ready - ftp & scp, sorry can’t do a shell for security reasons. Someone PM me if they want to set it up, if not it will be more than a week before I get around to it.
