Replace (or just comment out the original one and add) the _unzip function at the most bottom of easy2/includes/classes/e2g.module.class.php

If this works, then this is the patch.

This unzip function has been tested on my live site, that is running on E2G RC1 r165.
See the deep directory folder which was unzipped successfully.

Btw, please update your RC 1 to the revision 165.

ALL THE LANGUAGE KEY parameters have been changed for the sake of easy maintenance and translation ordering.
Yes, sorry... I just thought about this after the translation form existed.
All the available language files that are included into the package have been changed to follow this update, except russian’s file, since my netbeans could not change that.

Will anyone give me a report of the last RC1 revision’s installation?
I need a stable confirm to dump RC1 into the MODx’s repository.

Installed on my XAMPP/OSX local environment with no problems.

Fixed it; had to add a line to the php.ini to load the module.

Upgraded on Solaris server, got

The newest version works here!

Installed locally on XAMPP/Vista as well as remotely on Bluehost. Installs went fine. Only two issues I have noticed are
- friendly urls need to be on
and
- a slideshow that ends up with only one image does not display the image. For example, the smoothgallery/slidingtransitions slideshow will correctly show the images filename as well as show it in the "pictures" thumbnail strip. But the main gallery image will be blank.

Not sure yet if one or both of these issues are specific to me. I don’t believe the second one is a result of anything I’m doing though.

That is the problem. The program tries to set the time limit allowed for processing a PHP script, but your server has been configured to disallow that function.

Goldsky. Still the same problem with installer. If there is no /assets/images/gallery/ folder than installer throw an error:
