MODULE

1. file&apos;s/folder&apos;s name will not be renamed again

2. the original folder&apos;s & file&apos;s names restoration in the upgrading installation process

3. each of folders will have index.html (Unautorized Direct Access to folder), each time of directory creation or each time synchro action finds a folder doesn&apos;t have index.html.

4. as #3, this time synchro will exclude index.html, index.htm, index.php, Thumbs.db for the database synchronization.

5. editing directory name will also rename the real folder&apos;s name.

6. change the default installation language.

7. add output buffering to avoid PHP&apos;s memory limit.

8. add natural sort order of gallery&apos;s list



SNIPPET

1. Now with PHP classes.

2. Directories and files are now sharing the same Grid and Pagination. The &limit parameter applies as the joined result.

3. Comment with email validation.

Releasing Easy 2 Gallery 1.4.0 Beta 4 for too many bug fixing and adding slideshows.

Added Galleriffic slideshow.

+ change the snippet’s call on the slideshow part, make it flexible:

So by this changes, additional slideshow’s folder and slideshow’s php file should be added under the same name with the slideshow’s title.
+ Just replace all the files with the E2G 1.4.x - galleriffic.zip, this will overwrite the snippet’s class, too.
+ the call: [!easy2? &gid=`25` &slideshow=`galleriffic` &ss_config=`example-5` &w=`70` &h=`70`!]

• use &gid/ &fid/ &rgid to get the library
• &slideshow=`galleriffic` is the specified slideshow type
•

Hi there,

somehow, I have a weird effect here: No matter if I use Highslide or Fancybox or a different thumbnail viewer from the config, it works good and fast with Firefox but extremely slow with IE and Opera.
Being on the Fancybox-project site, there is no similar problem with IE.
Additional info: The snippet call is uncached. My logs don’t show any errors.

It would be great, if anybody could test that as well. Thanks.

Replace all of these:

• the lib/ libraries with this libs.zip
• the lib’s config under includes

Thanks for your help, but it did not fix the problem.

I don’t know, if we have some caching issues here or what the reason is. It takes up to 20 seconds to resize an image from one of the thumbs with IE8 and Opera, 2-3 seconds with FF. This also happens on your sites (by the way: well done http://sejarah-gpi.org/ )

If you are on the project sites, e.g. on http://randomous.com/floatbox/demo it works well with Opera and IE.
Probably, I should try to use the latest versions.

I installed the module ’Easy 2 Gallery 1.4.0-beta 3’ sucessfully and it’s working fine.
Now I’m trying to integrate galleriffic as Temus suggests in this post for E2G 1.3.5 but I can’t manage to get it working:

Or sharing any other solution to show thumb + images in the same page?

Depends on server’s settings (php’s limitation, RAM/clock speed for file processing).

My last project is handling 350-400 MB, 1900 files, 258 folders.
I’m not saying it’s enough, since my client is expecting that site should handle 5 times more of the current size.
The database is still adding up.
So, the test has not yet got its limit for now on.
I don’t know about other people.
