As I have said before, I’ve used the tagcloud and it looks great. But now, I have a problem.
Below the tagcloud is some text. Suppose you scroll down a little to read the text and after that you click the tagcloud. What the site owner wants, is that the vertical scroll position of the page is saved after the refresh. I.e. after the visitor has clicked the tagcloud and has been taken to a new page, his scrollbar is at the same height as before.
Now, I know how to find the window’s scroll position with javascript. What I don’t know is how to pass this position to cumulus_swf, since the snippet call is parsed server side, and the variable that holds the scroll position is obviously on the client side. I’ve dug around for hours. The closest I came to a solution is to save the scroll position in a form and then submit the form. But you cannot submit a form and perform the snippet call to cumulus_swf at the same time, I think. Or can you? Or is there another way?
