Thanks for the cool module. I have been playing with it and am having a hard time understanding setting the css path in the advanced options. Can you explain how to do that. I looked through the module code and I couldn’t figure out what directory it looks in by default. You mention in the installation instructions that there are templates in the zip folder. I didn’t see any. Is there any more documentation available?

Hi Joe,

I assumed that this input works like any other file path text input inside the manager, where you would type in into the input, but it just outputs that in the form in the front end. when I type in a full link like: it does not output in the form and it is not the source code in the head section. What should we type into that text input. My form css file is in . I am clearly missing something basic and I apologize for being dense.

This Module/Snippet is fantastic!

This is exactly the sort of thing that keeps me coming back to MODx again and again; compared to eForm this ticks so many more boxes. eForm is always clunky and never client friendly; I’d feel comfortable letting a client make adjustments to forms using Form Builder.

I know Form Builder is very new, but I’ve got a couple of ideas and requests. I’d like to be able to create a form like this:

• Would it be possible to allow a class for each field?
• Could <fieldset> functionality be added also with its own class?
• How difficult would it be to have an upload field which becomes an email attachment?
• Would it be possible to add extra descriptive text before each field or fieldset instead of only before the entire form?
• Would it be possible to have two forms on one page? (i.e. using jQuery tabs)
• Could the form send the email to two different email addresses? (e.g. [email protected] and [email protected])
• The Form Description: filed in the Advanced Options never seems to retain its value? And also, what’s this field for?

Or maybe some of these are already possible?

-This is doable. I would need to edit the database and add the functionality to formbuilder. Ironically, I had class in my original but wanted to keep it more simple. I could probably add this functionality when I have some time.

-This is not currently an option.
-I have thought about adding this along with the ability to have multiple page forms. Any Ideas on how best to do this are welcome.

-Not sure. Would probably need to create another class to handle this. I would be concerned about security and am not sure. I am open to suggestions or help on making this one a reality.

-We could add a description textbox for each field.

I would imagine this is doable with the current setup.

-I believe you could do this by just using a comma. Like this: [email protected], [email protected]

-I think you uncovered a bug. I will fix this in the next version. This field was just for the user to describe what the form does, in case they have bunches of forms.

* Could <fieldset> functionality be added also with its own class?
-Explain to me how you would use this...
-Would you use this for wrapping radio tags or to just separate form areas?

This should be in place for accessibility as should the ’legend’ tag as well.

This would be a good feature to add. I am welcome to input on how best to do this.

I could add the types "fieldset, legend" to the Type: dropdown and that would add fieldset as a sortable "formfield" but you would need a start fieldset and end fieldset so that it would encapsulate the appropriate formfields. I don’t think this would be hard to code, but I am wondering about userability.
