Support/Comments for Ecwid Shopping Cart 0.1-1

Is there possibility to add code which loads lang js files in ecwid placeholders. Attributes like other placeholder have.

Now you have to place in ecwid.php code which is quite ugly way to do it. Of course this attribute should put the lang js file to right place.

Nice idea, thank you.
However you don’t need to modify the "ecwid.php" file. Just add the necessary JS code to a page, before the [[ecwid]] line.

Also in the next Ecwid versions, the translations will be added to the core, so no JS files adding will be necessary.
Customers will get the necessary language based on their browser settings and your store settings.

How about the store id 1003 in the snippet code. Should this id be your own id?

"1003" is the ID of our demo store. So if you just insert snippet [[ecwid]], the demo products will be shown. As soon as you create a new Ecwid account and get your own Store ID, you need to pass it to the script:

[[ecwid?store_id=000000]]

(where 000000 is your real store id)

$store_id = isset($store_id) ? intval($store_id) : '1003';
include_once($modx->config['base_path'].'assets/snippets/ecwid/ecwid.php');
?>

Should user change this store id?

One question: Obviously a lot of work has gone into this. Are you willing to share your plans for the future? Will this become a paid service?

Firstly, this thing is just...awesome, the amount of effort that went into making that musta been huge, and to make it free, you are a legend.

Just one thing, is it fully customizable? I know some CSS but not enough to mess with the carts CSS

I was just thinking is it possible for me:

- Remove the sign in link on the cart
- Remove the sort function and have it automatically be on list view? Looks a lot nicer with my products
