  Oh now this would be wonderful if it updates the old functionality of QuickEdit! Do you have any screenshots? We’ve been needing to update QE for years. Literally.

  I have no screenshots yet. This way is not like a QuickEdit. Here you have menu with three buttons (Add Children, Edit, Logout). When you click on Edit, plugin opens manager document-edit window where you can quickly edit any attributes/TVs of document like backend (QuickEdit supports just one attribute).
  This way is designed to support plugins like ManagerManager with customizations of manager output.
  In future this plugin allows to customize manager output by self.
  Just first Alpha. Testing… Waiting 4 comments and bug reports…

  This looks quite promising. If memory servers me right, using QuickEdit can cause conflicts with jQuery or something like that. Are there any such conflicts with Quim? Thanks..

  I followed the instructions but I can’t seem to get this to work... There are no errors, it just doesn’t seem to load. Any idea what I should double check that could be an issue? Thanks!

  Quim uses JQuery just in document_edit form (Backend)!

  Do you see menu in frontend?
  If menu is visible, but you cannot save document: Download package and new instructions again, or check events (OnWebPagePrerender, OnDocFormPrerender, OnDocFormSave) for plugin.
  
  If you doesn’t seem menu in frontend, try to update page (Ctrl+F5 for FF and IE).
  
  What kind of Browser did you use?

  I tested with IE7, chrome and FF 3.4. I checked the source and there’s no added code when the plugin is running so it’s not actually making it to the front end.

  I tested it just in MODx 0.9.6.
  There is a bug and I want to understand how to fix it. Please give me your MODx version and names of plugins that uses OnWebPagePrerender event.

  Ok... it’s working.  My preview area disappeared in the manager and I was like WTF has gone wrong here.  I thought my modx install was goosed and it then I cleared the cahce etc, checked the site to make sure it was running.  Now I see the manager buttons!  Looks very nice. 
  
  By the way, it’s Xmas and we are still on MODx forums lol. 
  
  Just a thought. Is there anyway you can allow access to this to webusers? Have a frontend admin webgroup that can edit pages but not see the whole backend manager?
