I’m getting another error now:

The call I’m using is:

I’m not using Friendly URLs is that why I’m gettingthe error?

For a temporary fix do the following:

change line 88 to this:



and then call the snippet like this:



I will look for a better solution to this and get a code patch out soon.

I have released a new version that outputs debug information. Can you load the new version and set the param &debug=`1` That should help me figure out what your error is. You can get the new version from the repository.

Other changes include:

• Placeholder output support - there is now a parameter you can set to output the calendar to a placeholder.
• Future Month Removal - The next link will not be displayed when user reaches the last post.
• When a user clicks a day in the calendar the month displayed will stay the same when the new page loads. The post will then have the class specified in the param &activeDay applied to it.

There was an error processing the json data. Set the debug param equal to 1 for more info.

Can you post some links to the json page and to the page that calls the calendar. that might help me find your error. It looks like the json page is not getting processed.

Great job Kylej! Before diving into this wonderful snippet (which I want toi use as global calendar of events on some site) I’d ask a question.

Is there a way to filter posts wich DittoCal should read? For example like tags in Ditto?

If there’s no such function - can u give tips on how to manage that?

yentsun,
you can use all of dittos filtering options to setup the json data however you want. That is where the calendar gets its data so whichever posts you include in the ditto call will be included in the calendar.

If you need help with that error I need more info to help solve it.

About filtering: I would like to have a one-big json output for the whole site and dozens of artists with calendars showing events with their presence only. So I guess I still need DittoCal filter.

yentsun, couldn’t you jsut craete a seperate json file for each artist and then have a seperate dittocal call for each artist as well? I think adding the the filtering capabilities is kind of overload since you can do it all with ditto.

can you turn the debug on in your dittocal snippet call, that should help me find the problem. Also make sure you are using the latest version, 1.1

Damn, I by some reason was using 1.0..but was sure I use 1.1.
Now I upgraded to 1.1 and have "Processing Error"
