Using frontpage

    This sucks.. both me and my clients fell in love with the font editor from evo.. it was easy intuitive and came pre-installed.

    Does anyone know if this will ever be added to revo? or if anyone is working on an extra? (tear)

      Unfortunately QuickManager+ from MODX Evolution won’t be ported to Revo (at least not by me). There are already several front-end editing solutions in development for Revo (e.g. FrontPage, NewsPublisher and the one by Digital Butter). You’ll just have to patient and wait one of these add-ons to mature and evolve little more.

      And of course, MODX Evolution and QuickManager+ are both well alive, so why not use them while waiting better solution (unless you need some Revo specific new features)?

        Thanks lammikko.. the one by Digital Butter looks really really promising.. cant wait for a release.

          The best practice is update to newer version, so better way is not downgrade to old JQuery but upgrade a jquery.colorbox-min.js to latest version. http://jacklmoore.com/colorbox/

          Put this file in assets/components/frontpage/js

            Just a quick Thank You for that last tip. Came to this page because I also had the black page problem but with jquery library being at 1.7.1 I was thinking that I could hardly be expected to downgrade that to make Frontpage work. Replaced the jquery.colorbox-min.js file that came with the package with the newest one and all working perfectly fine now!

              I love these forums wish I had looked here earlier I also had the black screen issue read this post updated the colorbox-min.js now all works.
