    Yes, that works as well. I modified both files because I wanted to use the user permissions system to only display the extra items to specific people.

        Thanks Zi,
        Its nearly done.
        I really want to add in a few more abilities, such as auto login to the mail center when they click the link, but I am not sure how to make the welcome.html page, secure, to block direct access to the page? Any helps here?
        Because right now you can access it directly -
        yourdomain.xx/manager/media/style/01/welcome.html
        (Right now the template is just called 01)
        Once its done, I will put up a sample and/or instructions for people to use it if they like.
        Right now I am not settled on Brown theme, but I will probably go with a greyish theme. I kind of wanted to make the top row of buttons 1 color (right now olive) the sub nav row a 2nd (right now Brown)
        and then the main buttons in the middle a 3rd to assist in Customer support (right now just grey)

        You will notice that the top button called Live Support is being served straight from my Kayako Support desk, and updates automatically if customer support is online or not.

        The first tab welcome tab, will have some basic help topics - where /how to add content, the ability to remove locks, And whatever admin they will need to do, such as a newsletter module link, etc.
        Then use ManagerManager to put up user permissions.

        So that is the theory in a nut shell. I really like Modx, you guys are doing a great job.

                That was actually committed last night as the new default manager theme for the Evo 1.0 release.

                    Very good point. I am also interested to know the solution. If the page was in php, I think we could add manager session check, but how to keep the html page protected from non-logged-in-manager-users.

                      as well as if the page were PHP I could call the self domain -
                      <?php
                      echo "http:// $_SERVER[’SERVER_NAME’];
                      ?>
                      For links such as webmail logins and stuff.
                      So the question is now how can we make welcome.html into .php?
                      Anyone have any good thoughts?
