    The default value needs to be 0||1 (I think) so that when checked it sets the value to 1 and hides it.

      Hi together:

      Sorry - I didn’t get it and need some help.

      I just want to have my comments (count) below my news as a link. When I klick to this link I want to see the whole news article with the comments and the comments form.

      I can see the link "comments" but I see neither a comment nor the comments form.

      What have I made wrong? How does it really work together?

        Your issues:
        1. You are missing all of the placeholders in your TPL
        2. UserCommentsCount only returns the number of comments, nothing more.
        3. If you want what you describe to happen, you need to call UserComments on the page with your document.

          Issue 1:
          Placeholders? Are you talking to modify my TPL like this:

          <div class="nl_summaryPost">
                  <h3><a href="[~[+id+]~]">[+title+]</a></h3>
                  <div>
          	 [+summary+]
                   [+link+]
                   <div style="text-align:right; font-size: 8pt; color:#808080">
          		<a href="[~[+id+]~]#comments">Comments ([!UserCommentsCount?docid=[+id+]!])</a> |
          		getippt <!-- von [+author+] --> am [+date+]
          	</div>
          	 <br><br>
          	</div>
              </div>

          Issue 2:
          I know, just count and display the result..

          Issue 3:
          I call UserComments on the page with my document. Unfortunately I can see the Form always - I want to see the Form only when I read the full article.

          Just have a look to http://www.marcusmueller.net/cms_marcus/index.php?id=53
          It’s maybe easier to have a look than to follow my explanations..

          Thanks for your help!

                  Just turn on freeform for the form and don’t place it anywhere

                      I changed my COMMENTS CUNK like follows, but it don’t works:

                      <p style="margin-top: 1em;font-weight:bold">Leave your comment:</p>

                      [!UserComments? &makefolder=`1` &freeform=`1`!]

                      [+UserComments.Form+]

                      I fear I’m still on the wrong track.. :-(
